Lucerne moved four points clear at the top of the Super League standings with a 3-1 win over FC Zurich.

All the goals came in the last half hour, with Adrian Winter and Nelson Ferreira putting the hosts 2-0 up with two goals in as many minutes before Zurich halved the deficit in the 82nd minute through Adrian Nikci.

The visitors could not force an equaliser though and Lucerne wrapped up the win in stoppage time through substitute Nico Siegrist, who netted almost immediately after replacing Ferreira.

The win moves Lucerne clear of second-placed FC Thun, who play tomorrow, while reigning champions Basel climbed up to third place after thrashing Servette 4-0 away from home.

Fabian Frei put Basel on their way to a third win of the season with a brace before Marco Streller and Granit Xhaka added further goals to complete the scoring.
