Comeback returns Corinthians to summit
Corinthians hit back from a goal down to beat Flamengo 2-1 and take over at the top of Brazil's Campeonato on Thursday.
De Souza Deivid gave fifth-placed Flamengo a 28th-minute lead but Liedson levelled just past the hour mark and won the contest for the hosts two minutes from time.
The win lifts Corinthians two points clear of city rivals Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro's Vasco da Gama at the top.
Vasco moved level with Sao Paulo courtesy of a 2-0 defeat of Coritiba, provided by goals from Juninho (28) and Romulo (55).
Gremio were also victorious, with Evaeverson da Silva (28) and Damian Escudero (35) setting up a 2-1 victory over hosts Bahia, who replied through Rodrigo De Souza's 57th-minute penalty.
