Morelia moved away from the foot of the table in the Mexican Apertura today with a 3-2 win at San Luis.
The visitors, who climbed from second bottom to 15th in the standings after seven rounds, fell behind to a Michael Arroyo penalty.
However, Morelia roared back to establish a 3-1 advantage thanks to two goals from Jaime Lozano, the second a spot-kick, and one from Joao Rojas.
Substitute Ismael Blanco pulled a goal back in the final minute, but the mid-table hosts could not find an equaliser.
