PSV Eindhoven have reached an agreement with FC Groningen for the acquisition of Slovenia striker Tim Matavz.

The 22-year-old will sign a five-year contract at the Philips Stadion subject to passing a medical, the Eindhoven club confirmed today.

Matavz scored 16 Eredivisie goals for Groningen last season and represented his country at last summer's FIFA World Cup™ in South Africa.

Technical director Marcel Brands has ruled out any more summer signings following the capture of Matavz, according to the club's website.
