Benfica and Braga moved to the summit of the fledgling Liga table with victories away from home.

Benfica were 2-0 winners away to ten-man Nacional, Oscar Cardozo netting a first-half opener and Bruno Cesar rounding the win off in injury time after the hosts had Joao Aurelio sent off on the hour.

The result leaves Benfica with seven points from three games and ahead of Braga on goal difference after the latter won 1-0 at Vitoria Setubal. Helder Barbosa scored the only goal in the 82nd minute.
