Catania have signed Argentina midfielder Sergio Almiron from Juventus for an undisclosed fee, the Sicilian club confirmed today.

Almiron made 25 league appearances while on loan at Bari last season. The 30-year-old has penned a three-year contract, becoming Catania's tenth signing this summer.

Catania, who appointed Vincenzo Montella as their new coach last month, finished 13th in Serie A last term.
