Racing Club moved to the top of the Apertura following a goalless draw with Arsenal Sarandi.

The hosts, though, will have been disappointed not to take all three points and move three clear of the rest of the table - especially given their opponents had Jorge Ortiz sent off with 11 minutes to go.

Estudiantes squandered a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with San Martin San Juan. Gaston Fernandez and Mauro Boselli put the struggling hosts ahead before Emanuel Mas pulled one back on the stroke of half-time.

Maximiliano Nunez then levelled and Estudiantes' disappointment was compounded when Christian Cellay was sent off with nine minutes left.

Bottom side Banfield were beaten 1-0 at Godoy Cruz, Ruben Ramirez scoring the only goal nine minutes after half-time.
