Newly-promoted Mons let a two-goal lead slip as they drew 2-2 at Anderlecht in the Belgian Jupiler League, denying them a win at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium.

Jeremy Perbet and Rachid Bourabia put Mons on the verge of a famous victory before substitute Nathan Kabasele scored within a minute of coming off the bench. Lucas Biglia then earned the hosts a share of the spoils.

Standard Liege beat ten-man KV Kortrijk 3-1 to move up to fourth place in the fledgling league table. Antonio Kanu opened the scoring for Liege before Dalibor Veselinovic equalised after 56 minutes. Aloys Nong then put Liege back in front before David Vandenbroeck was sent-off and M'Baye Leye scored the third in the last minute.

A 53rd-minute Odjija Ofoe penalty earned Club Brugge a 1-1 draw at Zulte-Waregem, who had taken the lead in the 18th minute through Guiseppe Rossini.
