Helsingborg secure nervy win
Helsingborg maintained their three-point lead at the top of the Allsvenska table with a 2-1 win at home to bottom-side Halmstad.
The leaders left it late to secure victory with Marcus Holgersson and Christoffer Andersson easing the tension. Halmstad substitute Mikael Rosen pulled a goal back in injury time, but it came too late for the beleaguered visitors to grab a point.
Second-placed Elfsborg enjoyed a more comfortable win as they remained in touching distance of the leaders by beating Syrianska 2-0.
David Elm opened the scoring after 15 minutes and a second from Stefan Ishizaki before half-time sealed the win.
AIK kept their slim title hopes alive as they are ten points adrift of the leaders, with a 3-0 victory at home to Trelleborg.
Nils-Eric Johansson opened the scoring on 29 minutes before second-half strikes from Robert Ahman-Persson and substitute Gabriel Ozkan completed the triumph.
In day's final match, Math Ranegie scored in each half as Hacken defeated Djurgarden 2-0.
