Andriy Shevchenko could be facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a broken jaw.

The 34-year-old Dynamo Kiev striker was injured in yesterday's 2-0 win over Karpaty and is now due to see a specialist about the problem.

"It is too early to say when he will be fit to return," the club said in a statement. "He will travel either to England or Italy to see a specialist this week."
