Teraktor Sazi have gone top of the Iran Pro League after Mohammad Ebrahimi's penalty clinched a 1-0 win over Shahin.

Ebrahimi held his nerve from the spot after 27 minutes to give the hosts three points. Malavan climbed to second with a 4-0 win over Mes Sarcheshmeh.

Mohammed Nezhati opened the scoring for the hosts inside the opening minute before goals in the second half from Alireza Jarah Kar, Alireza Daghaghleh and Zoran Zlatkovski sealed a comfortable win.

Elsewhere, Mohammad Ghazi Najafabadi's strike five minutes from time gave Zob Ahan a 1-0 triumph at Saipa, while Shahrdari Tabriz beat Perspolis 2-1 thanks to goals from Meysam Baou and Vouria Ghafouri
