Antonio Azevedo struck twice as Servette beat Lausanne Sports 4-2. Azevedo made his telling contribution after team-mate Ishamel Yartey's seventh-minute opener was cancelled out by Steven Lang.

The Brazilian striker then struck after 35 and 43 minutes to send Servette 3-1 ahead. Lang's second reduced the deficit but the points were sealed with a 72nd-minute Goran Karanovic penalty.

Adilson Cabral's 90th-minute equaliser snatched a 3-3 draw for Basel at home to FC Sion. Basel came from behind on no less than three occasions to claim a point.

Vilmos Vanczak (six), Jose Adailton (20) and Sio (80) had each fired the visitors ahead only for their goals to be cancelled out by Jacques Zoua (15), Xherdan Shaqiri (24) and Cabral (90).
