Anzhi Makhachkala moved level on points with fourth-placed Rubin Kazan in the Premier Liga after beating them 3-0 away this afternoon.

The visitors had won just one of their previous four games but Makhach Gadzhiev gave them a 52nd-minute lead and Alexander Prudnikov doubled their advantage 14 minutes later. Mbark Boussoufa notched a last-minute penalty to give the scoreline an even more emphatic look.

Spartak Moscow are a place behind Anzhi in sixth and drew 1-1 with Kuban Krasnodar in the Russian capital. Lacina Traore's 37th-minute spot-kick put Kuban in front but Spartak rescued a point thanks to Welliton's 52nd-minute leveller.

Terek Grozny were 1-0 winners at Tomsk as Shamil Asildarov grabbed the only goal for the Chechen side after 50 minutes.
