Ligue 1 newcomers Dijon have completed the free transfer of Japan international Daisuke Matsui from financially-stricken Grenoble.

The 30-year-old midfielder has signed a two-year contract after his former club were placed in liquidation and demoted to the CFA2, the fifth tier of French football.

Dijon are also considering a move for Matsui's national team colleague Yasuyuki Konno, who is set for a trial period with the club next week.
