Real Madrid have extended the contracts of key defensive duo Sergio Ramos and Pepe, the club have announced on their website.
Spain international Ramos' new deal runs until the end of the 2016/17 season while Portugal centre-back Pepe is now tied to the club through the 2015/16 campaign.
The 25-year-old Ramos, a world and European champion with Spain, moved to the capital from Sevilla in 2005 for £18.4m and has helped Madrid win two La Liga titles, the Copa del Rey and Spanish Supercup.
Brazilian-born Pepe, 28, joined Madrid from Porto for £20m in 2007 and has picked up all but the first of Ramos' league titles with Real.
