Sneijder: I love Inter with all my heart
Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder has left the door open for a possible move away from the San Siro this summer despite pledging his commitment to the club two days ago, but emphasised his love for i Nerazzurri.
The 27-year-old Netherlands international said on Friday that he was happy in Milan and saw no reason to leave the Serie A runners-up, but in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport today left his future in slightly less defined territory.
He told the Italian newspaper: "The Inter fans have always treated me very well. They were wonderful and I want to simply thank them. Only God will decide where my future lies. I can be certain of one thing: if I remain at Inter, then I will give my all to win everything again.
"When you have had the greatest and most surprising year of your life (winning the treble in 2009/10), it's only natural that the next will be less rewarding. Not everything can be perfect.
"I had fun in my second year with Inter and was satisfied, even if we didn't win everything. At least this way we still have a few more objectives to reach. I love Inter with all my heart."
Sneijder, a reported target of Chelsea and both Manchester clubs, is under contract with Inter until June 2015.
