Newly promoted Serie A club Siena have confirmed Giuseppe Sannino as their new coach following the departure of Antonio Conte.
Conte successfully led the Tuscan outfit to promotion back to Serie A this season before leaving the club last month to join Juventus.
The 54-year-old Sannino, who guided Varese to the semi-final promotion play-offs in Serie B before losing to Padova, has signed a two-year contract with the Robur.
A statement from Siena said: "We welcome Giuseppe Sannino with open arms and with great enthusiasm. He is a man that has achieved all he has through work and dedication.
"Our choice to appoint him has been based on the will to interpret next season with that tenacity, grit and will to win that Sannino has always shown in his career."
