SAS-Ligaen champions Copenhagen suffered a shock 3-0 defeat by distant runners-up Odense tonight.

Espen Ruud put the hosts ahead early on and though the champions, still 23 points clear having run away with it, tried their best to overturn the deficit, but it was not to be.

Andreas Johansson and Peter Utaka rubber-stamped the win which finally gave Odense something to cheer about.

Third-placed Brondby were denied victory by a late FC Nordsjaelland equaliser. Clarence Goodson had put the hosts up 1-0 with a rare foray forward in the 11th minute, but seven minutes from time Rawez Lawan produced the leveller.

FC Midtjylland drew 2-2 at home to Randers FC having led 2-0 after half an hour. Elsewhere, AaB lost 2-1 at home to Sonderjyske and Esbjerg were 2-2 winners over AC Horsens. Silkeborg lost 1-0 at home to Lyngby.
