FC Copenhagen have appointed Roland Nilsson to a three-year deal to take the club's head coaching reins.
The former Swedish defender is currently in charge of Malmo and led them to the Allsvenskan title last year. However, FC Copenhagen confirmed today Nilsson would join up with the two-time defending Danish champions on 1 June after an agreement was reached between the two clubs.
Nilsson replaces Staale Solbakken, who will take charge of Cologne in the Bundesliga next season.
