Pumas UNAM were tonight crowned Mexican Clausura champions after beating Morelia 2-1.
Having secured a 1-1 draw in the away leg on Thursday, Pumas were always favourites to edge the return and secure their seventh league title.
And they did just that, although they needed a 77th-minute goal from Javier Cortes to get them over the line.
Veteran striker Francisco Palencia put Pumas ahead with a 14th-minute penalty but Jaime Lozano replied with another spot-kick against his former team 11 minutes later.
Cortes grabbed the winner, however, with a brilliant solo goal, weaving past three defenders before crashing his shot into the net.
