Udinese president Giampaolo Pozzo insists his star players will not be sold this summer if his team qualifies for the UEFA Champions League next season.

The Bianconeri are on course for Europe's top competition as they sit fourth in Serie A, two points clear of Lazio heading into the final round of matches. Udinese have several players, including Manchester City target Alexis Sanchez, that have been linked with a move away from the Stadio Friuli this summer.

However, Pozzo said: "Should we qualify for the Champions League then it is our desire to maintain the potential that we already have. In fact, we want to add to it.

"We've had an experience in the Champions League before and we now understand that you need to improve the squad with important players. We'll do all that we can to take on this adventure."

Udinese need a point at AC Milan on Sunday to secure a place in the Champions League.
