Racing rise, Argentinos win away
Racing Club moved up to fourth in the Argentinian Clausura with a 3-0 win over ten-man Newell's Old Boys.
Teofilo Gutierrez scored twice, either side of a goal from Lucas Aveldano, to give the home side a comfortable win.
Cristian Lema was sent off for two bookable offences in the 62nd minute to compound the misery for the bottom side.
Elsewhere, All Boys beat Arsenal Sarandi 1-0 with a 54th-minute goal from Emanuel Gigliotti and Gimnasia La Plata saw off Banfield 2-0 thanks to goals from Claudio Graf and Alejandro Capurro.
Argentinos Juniors were the only away winners, beating San Lorenzo 2-1.
Emilio Hernandez gave the visitors the lead after six minutes, with Leandro Romagnoli equalising just before the midway point of the first half.
However, German Basualdo grabbed what proved to be the winner on the stroke of half-time.
In the day's final game, Colon Santa Fe beat Huracan 3-0 with three goals inside the first 40 minutes from Damian Diaz - twice -and Esteban Fuertes.
