Porto increased their lead in the Portuguese Liga Sagres table to 21 points with a 4-0 away win against Vitoria Setubal as nearest rivals Benfica were held to a 1-1 draw by Olhanense.

Goals from Nicolas Otamendi, Walter and Silvestre Varela, plus an own goal from Valdomiro, earned Porto the win but with just two games remaining in the season the destination of the title was decided long ago.

Benfica slipped up despite taking the lead through Franco Jara after four minutes before Vieira Jardel was sent off for a second booking on 67 minutes. Vieira Djalmir netted the equaliser with 90 minutes up on the clock.

Nacional won 2-1 against Naval with goals from Diego Barcelos and a Claudemir penalty with just over half an hour gone. Edvaldo Bolivia got what proved to be a consolation for Naval before half-time but the defeat leaves them in the bottom two with time running out for their survival hopes.

Beira Mar and Rio Ave drew 1-1, Yohan Tavares giving the home side the lead before Ricardo Tarantini scored the equaliser three minutes into the second half.

Baba Diawara scored the only goal as Maritimo beat Academica 1-0 with the visitors also having David Addy sent off. The game between Braga and Uniao Leiria ended 0-0.
