Godoy Cruz moved to within a point of Clausura leaders River Plate with a 1-0 win over Argentinos Juniors. Diego Villar opened the scoring after just two minutes and, though the hosts could not find a second, they held on for the win.

San Lorenzo were held to a 1-1 draw by Lanus, as a strike from Juan Carlos Menseguez in the 52nd minute was cancelled out by Paolo Goltz 16 minutes later.

The result left both sides on 15 points, three behind River, but they were both overtaken by Racing Club, who claimed a 2-0 win over Independiente. Gabriel Hauche opened the scoring two minutes before the break and Teofilo Gutierrez made the points safe in the 86th minute. Racing's day was tainted slightly by the dismissal of Lucas Licht in the 90th minute.

Cristian Fabbiani scored twice as All Boys beat Huracan 3-1. Fabbiani's strikes put All Boys two up inside 19 minutes and, though Javier Campora pulled one back two minutes later, Emanuel Gigliotti netted from the spot six minutes into the second period to kill off Huracan.
