Unam Pumas moved four points clear at the top of the Clausura but left it late to beat Tigres Monterrey 2-0 on Sunday.
The visitors looked like earning a point until Israel Castros broke the deadlock in the 89th minute, and they made it look comfortable when Juan Carlos Cacho scored a penalty moments later. Pumas move back to four points clear of Morelia.
Guadalajara are up to fourth following a 3-0 win over Club America. Erick Torres opened the scoring in the 28th minute before a second-half brace in the space of seven minutes from Marco Jhonfai Fabian made sure.
Two late goals saw Puebla and Toluca share in a 1-1 draw. Emmanuel Cerda put visitors Toluca ahead in the 84th minute, but Edgar Castillo rescued a point with a last-minute equaliser.
