Elias Hernandez's last-minute winner sent Morelia up to second in the Clausura standings as they beat Cruz Azul 3-2 away from home.
Cruz Azul had led through Christian Gimenez in the 10th minute, but goals from Rafael Marquez Lupo and Hernandez turned the game on its head before Waldo Ponce made it 2-2 in the 63rd minute. But Hernandez's late intervention left Morelia just a point behind leaders Unam Pumas.
Monterrey missed a chance to put pressure on the leading pack as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Santos Laguna. They fell behind to Oribe Peralta's ninth-minute goal, but equalised through Jose de Arellano midway through the first half.
Pachuca scored three goals in the final 20 minutes to beat Jaguares 3-0. Substitute Herculez Gomes scored in the 71st and 78th minutes and Franco Arizala added a third with ten minutes to go.
Atlante enjoyed a 3-1 win over the ten men of Atlas, who were handicapped almost from the start as Edgar Pacheco saw red in the fourth minute. Jose Fonseca gave Atlante an early lead after ten minutes, and the advantage was doubled when Miguel Pinto scored an own goal early in the second half. Giancarlo Maldonado added a third before Carlos Costly got a late consolation for the visitors.
San Luis and Necaxa played out a goalless draw.
