Brest's Senegalese defender Omar Daf faces three weeks on the sidelines after dislocating his elbow in the 2-1 defeat at Sochaux on Saturday.

Daf was first feared to require surgery but tests showed he had not suffered any ligament damage.

He will wear a splint for three weeks while he recovers from the injury and is expected to return to Ligue 1 action against Lyon on 15 May, the club confirmed on its official website.
