Malmo got their Allsvenskan campaign off to a fine start with a 4-2 win at Trelleborg that put them top of the table.

Wilton Figueiredo gave the visitors, the regular season champions in 2010, an early lead before Daniel Larsson doubled their advantage after 24 minutes, only for Magnus Andersson to pull one back for the hosts.

Larsson got his second from the penalty spot and Agon Mehmeti got the fourth goal before Kristian Haynes got a consolation for Trelleborg.

Erik Sundin got the only goal of the game as Helsingborg won 1-0 at Mjallby, while IFK Norrkoping defeat ten-man GAIS 2-0. Imad Khalili's strike and a penalty from Shpetin Hasani sealed the win before the visitors had Fredrik Lundgren sent off.

Syrianska drew 1-1 with Gefle in the day's other game. Peter Ijeh had fired Syrianska into a fourth-minute lead, but Jakob Orlov scored a second-half equaliser.
