Runaway leaders Porto went a 24th game unbeaten tonight as they beat Academica 3-1. They had to come from behind to do so, though, with David Addy giving Academica a first-half lead, before Fredy Guarin, Roque Maicon and Silvestre Varela turned things around.
Salim Benachour scored twice as Maritimo beat Olhanense 4-0. Papa Baba Diawara got them going, Benachour then netted his brace before Campos Djalma wrapped things up.
Vitoria Setubal pulled themselves to within a point of Academica and safety as they beat Nacional 2-1. Neca gave them a sixth-minute lead and Jailson scored with 12 minutes left to leave Goncalves Anselmo's last-minute strike nothing more than a consolation.
Bottom side Naval scored two late goals to draw 2-2 with Beira Mar. Leandro Tatu and Moreira Artur gave Beira a half-time lead, only for Manuel Curto to net a penalty (80) and then a leveller from the spot (85), before Yohan Tavares was sent off.
