Goals from Gokdeniz Karadeniz (33) and Cristian Noboa (56) lifted Rubin to three points that moves them top of the embryonic league standings.

Newly-promoted Kuban Krasnodar sealed their first win of the campaign by beating Tomsk 1-0, substitute Sergei Davydov with the goal three minutes from time, while Stevica Ristic's 25th-minute goal guided Amkar Perm to a 1-0 victory against Lokomotiv Moscow.
