Lekhwiya maintained their five-point lead at the top of the Qatar Stars League after Bakari Kone's late goal grabbed a 1-1 draw against second-placed Al Arabi.

Abdelaziz Hatim had put Al Arabi in front just after the hour mark, but Kone struck three minutes from time to ensure a share of the spoils.

Four goals from Anouar Diba saw Al Wakra win 5-2 at Al Siliyya. Diba struck twice inside the first seven minutes to put the visitors in command, only for Moumouni Dagano's brace to draw Al Siliyya level.

However, Ronaldo Da Costa restored Al Wakra's lead before Diba scored two more in the second-half to seal the points.
