Al Rayyan claimed their seventh win in the Qatar League with a 1-0 victory over Al Khor today. Brazilian midfielder Rodrigo Tabata scored the only goal of the game six minutes after the break to lift Al Rayyan up to fifth.

Umm Salal continued with their recent success defeating Al Siliya 3-2 to record their fourth win of the campaign. Moroccan striker Adel Ramzi gave Umm Salal the lead after only six minutes, but Ali Fartous levelled five minutes later.

Burkina Faso forward Moumouni Dagano then put Al Siliya in front. However, Umm Salal equalised two minutes after the break and Mohamad Al Sayed gave them victory with a third goal seven minutes from time.
