Delneri wants change of attitude
Juventus coach Luigi Delneri has called for his players to show a change in attitude ahead of tomorrow night's visit of Bologna.
The Old Lady of Turin were well beaten in their last match away to Lecce, although they did have goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon sent off after just 12 minutes.
Even so, they were already hanging on by their fingertips at that early point and went on to lose 2-0, although with better finishing, Lecce could have racked up a cricket score.
"I hope things will change most of all on a mental level," said Delneri, whose side sit seventh in Serie A. "I expect us to play differently to how we did against Lecce, we've already forgotten that defeat although we didn't ignore it, we've studied every part of that game.
"It's difficult to explain such a collapse, it was the same team that beat Inter a few days beforehand. The Lecce game was an unexpected slap in the face but we know that we can do a lot better, starting with our approach.
"It was right against Inter and wrong last Sunday. We're all responsible for what happened against Lecce just as we were all protagonists in the win over Inter."
But despite his criticisms of the team, Delneri insists he won't be making wholesale changes to the starting line-up. "You don't change everything because one game went badly. A coach can't be fickle on a weekly basis, that wouldn't be logical," he added.
