Anderlecht missed the chance to move back ahead of Genk in the race for the Jupiler League title as they were beaten 2-0 at Westerlo tonight.
Goals by Aleksandr Iakovenko, from the penalty spot, and Dieter Dekelver meant Genk retain top spot on goal difference, with Anderlecht remaining level with them on 60 points.
Third-placed AA Gent moved within seven points after hammering Standard Liege 4-1 thanks to Soumahoro Yaya, Yassine El Ghanassy, Bernd Thijs and an own goal from Antonio Kanu. M'Baye Leye scored Standard's goal.
