Bursa drop points, Besiktas beaten
Bursaspor were unable to keep pace with Super Lig leaders Trabzonspor as they were held to a 1-1 draw at Eskisehirspor today.
All looked well for the Green Crocs as Ivan Ergic gave them a 22nd-minute lead and the hosts had Batuhan Karadeniz sent off after 68 minutes.
But Sezer Ozturk equalised from the penalty spot after 76 minutes and Bursa's Ozan Ipek was red-carded three minutes later as they were forced to settle for a point.
There was a disappointing defeat for sixth-placed Besiktas as Serdar Ozkan's first-minute goal earned Ankaragucu a 1-0 win in the capital.
Manisaspor recovered from going a goal down inside five minutes to win 4-1 at Antalyaspor. Ali Zitouni gave the hosts the lead but Huseyin Tok quickly equalised.
Isaac Promise and Josh Simpson put Manisaspor 3-1 up by the interval and Jimmy Dixon rounded off the victory in the second half.
Basement club Kasimpasa gained an impressive 3-1 win at Karabukspor to keep themselves in touch with the teams above them.
Bulent Kocabey gave Karabukspor the lead but goals from Gokhan Gulec and Halil Colak turned the game around before Huseyin Kala grabbed the third in the last minute.
