Olympiacos tightened their grip on top spot in the Greek Super League tonight as they came from behind to beat Aris Salonika 2-1. The leaders stretched their lead over second-placed Panathinaikos to ten points, despite falling behind to Darcy Neto's 17th-minute goal for hosts Aris.

Olympiacos were level by the break, with Rafik Djebbour the marksman in the 39th minute, rifling in a left-footed strike. Former Villarreal midfielder David Fuster snatched a 75th-minute winner with an acrobatic volley which went in off the right post.

Struggling Panionios caused an upset by beating third-placed PAOK Salonika 1-0, thanks to Bosko Balaban's 73rd-minute penalty. PAOK had centre-back Bruno Cirillo sent off in the 87th minute.

Ergotelis were winners at home to Kavala, hitting back from conceding a goal to Benjamin Onwuachi in the 21st minute to take a 2-1 victory thanks to Gilberto Beto's 44th-minute leveller and a 72nd-minute penalty converted by substitute Sergio Leal. Kavala had Igor Tomasic sent off in the 89th minute.
