Argentinian international striker Fernando Cavenaghi moved on loan to Brazilian side Internacional Porto Alegre for a year today.
The 27-year-old scored 33 goals in 83 matches for Bordeaux - starring for them in their title-winning season in the 2008/09 season - after joining from Spartak Moscow in 2007.
However, he has since fallen out of favour, playing just twice under Jean Tigana this season and a loan move to Spanish side Real Mallorca failed to work out as he scored just twice in 11 appearances.
Bordeaux, though, have replaced him by taking on loan highly-rated young Brazilian international striker Andre from Ukrainian outfit Dynamo Kiev.
The 20-year-old - capped three times and instrumental in Santos winning the 2010 Brazilian Cup - joins fellow Brazilians Jussie, Wendel and Fernando at the club, who are experiencing a miserable season which sees them lying eighth, 11 points adrift of leaders Lille.
