Sanchez stuns Juve
Udinese climbed above Juventus in the Serie A table with victory at the Stadio Olimpico to pile the pressure on Juve coach Luigi Del Neri.
Claudio Marchisio opened the scoring for the hosts against the run of play after an hour, but Cristian Zapata levelled seven minutes later. Alexis Sanchez earned Francesco Guidolin's side all three points five minutes from the end before red cards were shown to Juve's Leonardo Bonucci and Sanchez in the final minutes.
The first shot on goal did not arrive until the 37th minute and it was Alessandro Del Piero who tested Samir Handanovic with a left-footed shot from 20 yards which the Udinese goalkeeper pushed wide. Udinese's one and only chance of the first 45 minutes came on the stroke of half-time, Maurizio Isla shooting just wide of the far post with Gianluigi Buffon beaten.
Marchisio ignites second half
Antonio Di Natale almost put Udinese ahead in the 55th minute after a period of concerted pressure, but his attempt to pass the ball into the back of the net trickled just wide of the post. Marchisio then put Juve ahead in spectacular fashion against the run of play on the hour mark. Del Piero's shot was deflected and the ball looped up for Marchisio, who beat Handanovic with a scissor-kick from 17 yards.
Like last weekend against Inter Milan, Udinese came from behind, and once again it was Zapata who brought them level. Juve failed to clear a corner and Di Natale's volley was parried by Buffon to the Udinese defender, who turned the ball home despite Buffon's best attempts to keep it out.
Guidolin removed Di Natale, who appeared less than impressed with the decision as he left the pitch, but Udinese still found a winner with Sanchez starting and finishing a finely-worked move in the 85th minute.
Sanchez was causing problems for the Juve defence and Bonucci was sent off for a late foul on the Udinese forward in the 87th minute. And he was followed down the tunnel by Sanchez, who was given a second yellow card for an unnecessary foul on the edge of the Juventus penalty area.
