Croatia defender Strinic joins Dnepropetrovsk
Croatian international defender Ivan Strinic has quit Hajduk Split to join Ukrainian first division side Dnepropetrovsk for the next four years, a local daily reported today.
"I'm satisfied with the agreed transfer and a new step in my carrier," Strinic, 23, told the Sportske Novosti daily.
Hajduk Split was to be paid €4m for the transfer while Strinic would receive some €700,000, the daily said. Strinic started his carrier in Hajduk Split in 2006 and played six matches for the national squad.
