Frankfurt coach Skibbe extends contract
Eintracht Frankfurt coach Michael Skibbe extended his contract with the Bundesliga club until 2012, it was announced on Saturday. The 45-year-old has been in charge of Eintracht since July 2009 and his contract had been set to expire in June.
Frankfurt were beaten 1-0 by Hamburg last night, but along with Bayer Leverkusen, are the only sides to have beaten leaders Borussia Dortmund this season.
Skibbe, a former Leverkusen and Galatasary coach, has steered his side to eighth in the Bundesliga having played 19 matches this season.
