Juve's striker search continues
Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed his club are looking to strengthen their attacking line in the January transfer market.
Juve have lost striker Fabio Quagliarella for the rest of the season due to a serious knee injury. And despite the signing of veteran forward Luca Toni from Genoa last week, the Turin giants are still in the hunt for another frontman.
He said: "Each day new rumours emerge with regards to the market. We know we have a difficult situation in attack. We have lost Quagliarella, our goalscorer, and it's a big absence for us. Our aim is to replace him.
"Have we made an offer to Diego Forlan? I can only say that we will evaluate until the end the best that this market can offer us."
