Benfica won 3-0 at Uniao Leiria to keep the pressure on leaders Porto.

Despite sitting in fourth place, Leiria were powerless to prevent their visitors from moving to within eight points of top spot, with Javier Saviola, Nicolas Gaitan and Oscar Cardozo all on target.

Bottom side Naval pulled off the shock result of the day as they won 2-1 at fifth-placed Guimaraes, coming from a goal behind with a man down.

Joao Alves gave Guimaraes a 13th-minute lead, and they looked set for victory when Carlitos was sent off.

But Fabio Junior equalised from the spot with 20 minutes left, before Marinho won it with four minutes left on the clock.
