Sparta Prague have agreed to sign Tomas Zapotocny from Istanbul side Besiktas on a three-and-a-half year deal.
"We only have to finalise the paperwork with Besiktas," said Sparta spokesman Ondrej Kasik.
The 30-year-old Czech player, who has made four international appearances, played for Italian side Udinese for a year before joining Besiktas in 2008.
He will not feature in Sparta Prague's UEFA Europa League games against Liverpool in February after playing for Besiktas earlier in the same competition.
