A last-minute goal by Matt McKay ensured A-League leaders Brisbane Roar stretched their unbeaten run to 15 games following a 3-3 draw with Melbourne Victory at AAMI Park today.

Brisbane had stormed into a two-goal lead in the first half courtesy of a Matthew Kemp own goal and a seventh goal in six games from Jean Carlos Solarzano.

But the hosts battled back as Robbie Kruse halved the deficit in the 63rd minute with a fine finish before Archie Thompson headed home with 20 minutes remaining.

Kruse then turned the game on its head with a 77th-minute goal to put Melbourne on course for all three points and a first defeat for Brisbane since September.

However, McKay secured a point for his side in the 90th minute when the Roar captain smashed home from close range at the second attempt.

The draw for Brisbane means they extend their advantage at the top of the standings to seven points but second-placed Adelaide United have three games in hand. Melbourne, meanwhile, remain in sixth place with 20 points.
