Quilmes climbed off the foot of the Apertura with their second victory of the season as a huge slice of luck helped them beat All Boys 2-1.

Visitors All Boys took a tenth-minute lead when Mauro Matos drove home a left-footed strike from around 12 yards, and they remained in front until goalkeeper Nicolas Cambiasso made an appalling mistake in the 74th minute.

In 20 yards of space, he chested a long back-pass down on the edge of his penalty area and moved to launch a long kick downfield. However, he took a weak touch forward with his left foot and the ball rolled to Juan Morales who was able to go around the embarrassed goalkeeper and slot into an empty net.

Quilmes snatched a winner five minutes later when substitute Bernardo Romeo headed in a cross which Cambiasso hesitated over coming for.

The three points lifted Quilmes two places, with Gimnasia La Plata replacing them at the bottom of the table.

A frantic four-minute spell included all three goals as Racing Club won 2-1 away to Banfield.

Gabriel Hauche's neat finish put Racing Club ahead after 21 minutes, but Javier Rosada levelled up three minutes later.

Racing Club then stunned their hosts by regaining the lead from kick-off, with Claudio Bieler applying the finish from 12 yards after the Banfield defence was sliced open. Banfield had Victor Lopez sent off in the last minute.
