Catania thrashed Brescia 5-1 to progress from the fourth round of the Coppa Italia in style.

Raphael Martinho and Robert Feczesin traded goals to leave it 1-1 at half-time before the hosts cut loose through Maxi Lopez (2), Simone Pesce and Mirco Antenucci after the interval.

Cagliari exited the competition at the hands of Bologna, who cruised to a 3-0 away win. Riccardo Meggiorini made it 1-0 with a first-half penalty before goals from Gaston Ramirez and Henry Gimenez in the last six minutes.

Lazio triumphed by the same margin against Albinoleffe, with Javier Garrido, Guglielmo Stendardo and Simon Del Nero on target.
