Cruz Azul took the advantage in their Apertura quarter-final against Unam Pumas after claiming a 2-1 away success in their first-leg encounter on Wednesday.

The home side had led through a 19th-minute strike from Dante Lopez but Horacio Cervantes (33) and Christian Gimenez (73) replied to snatch the win.

In the only other match of the day, San Luis were held to a goalless draw at home to Club America.
