PSV Eindhoven eased into the fifth round of the KNVB Beker with a 3-0 victory over lower league Spakenburg.

Coach Fred Rutten gave many of his first-team regulars a rest for the match, but goals from Danny Koevermans (45), Orlando Engelaar (51) and Nordin Amrabat (65) ensured the Eredivisie club's safe passage.

AZ Alkmaar also advanced with a 3-0 win over PSV's city rivals FC Eindhoven. Rasmus Elm grabbed the opener after 11 minutes before Pontus Wernbloom and Ragnar Klavan put the result beyond doubt.

Roda JC were 2-0 victors at Go Ahead Eagles thanks to strikes from Stein Husgeyems and Rihairo Meulens, while FC Utrecht beat AGOVV by the same scoreline. Edouard Duplan and Frank Demouge were on target for the club ranked eighth in the top flight.

Vitesse Arnhem put their Eredivisie struggles to one side with a 3-0 success at home to Rijnsburgse Boys. Nacer Barazite, Julian Jenner and Davy Propper were the scorers for a Vitesse side which lies third from bottom in the league.

In other games, Noordwijk edged out De Treffers 1-0, while Genemuiden put in the performance of the night trouncing Dijkse Boys 9-1.
