A 90th-minute equaliser by Sergey Kornilenko salvaged a 1-1 draw for Rubin Kazan at home to Spartak Moscow in tonight's only Russian Premier Liga fixture.

Welliton had put Spartak ahead four minutes before the break. The visitors looked set to claim the spoils but the Belarus international managed to rescue a point at the death. Second-placed Rubin remain, mathematically at least, still in the race for the title, lying eight points behind Zenit St Petersburg with three games to play. Zenit, though, have a game in hand and can clinch the title with victory against CSKA Moscow on Wednesday.
