Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp insists the only people talking about the Bundesliga title this season are those outside the club after his side moved clear at the top of the table yesterday.

An emphatic 4-0 win at Hannover took the Westphalians four points clear at the summit, but talk of the title remains premature after 11 matches, according to Klopp.

"We have 28 points after 11 games and that is exceptional, and the team is playing exceptionally," he said. "But I don't care what other people say about us.

Nevertheless, with nine wins from 11 games and just one defeat in the league all season, they are going to take some stopping as they march towards their first title since 2002.

But their general manager Hans-Joachim Watzke was quick to point out that not even a third of the season has been completed yet.

"Nobody has ever won the league with just 28 points," he said. "But I do know a lot of clubs who have been relegated with this amount of points. "It remains a beautiful moment and we will try to carry on as we are going."

Opposition coach Mirko Slomka admitted that there was a gulf between the two sides, who were separated by only five positions in the table going into the weekend. "Borussia are worthy of a top team in every single department," he acknowledged.
